Refresher Course
We are thrilled to welcome Viktoria Burman and Pontus Henriksson to Rock the Barn, where they will be leading our intensive refresher course in West Coast Swing on Friday, 19/7, from 13:30 to 18:00 (OBS! New start time!) at Gräsmyr Loge, just outside Umeå.
Course Details
Brush off your West Coast Swing skills with this dynamic duo, Viktoria and Pontus, who will help you revisit the basics and add some stylish flair to your moves. This course is perfect for those who have attended at least one beginner class before.
As a special bonus, all participants in the intensive course are invited to stay for the Friday night social dance for only 100 SEK! It’s going to be an unforgettable evening with close to 300 dancers from all over Sweden, the Nordic countries, and even some international participants. Note: This is a separate registration, no ordinary Rock the Barn pass is needed. Though only a limited number of spots are available!

We strive to balance the number of leaders and followers, but you can certainly sign up alone. If you do, you’ll be placed on a waiting list and paired up as soon as a match is available. Please note that we cannot guarantee food availability at the event, so bring a packed meal to keep your energy up.

Switch Workshop
We’re excited to share more details about our open Switch Workshop at Rock the Barn! As we previously announced, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity for dancers of all levels to enhance their skills in switching between leading and following.
